Amber van der Eijk,
a graduate of Kine Concept Ontario is an Ontario liscenced and a member of the
College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. As a respected professional in her field,
she has provided massage therapy services to the local and outlying communities
for a few years.
Amber is trained in General Swedish Massage techniques, Myofascial
Release, Neuromuscular therapy, Reiki, pregnancy massage, sports massage, rehabilitative
treatments, remedial exercises and much more.
She specializes in promoting pain relief, rehabilitative processes
for sports or other injuries, and improvement in chronic/repetitive conditions.
Stress reduction and relaxation are also important in today’s world.
She views bodywork as a necessary, natural form of health care,
and often works in conjunction with physicians, physical therapists and other
bodywork practioners, complimenting their modalities to provide clients with massage
techniques tailored to their individual needs and conditions.
Many of Amber’s clients are either recovering from orthopaedic
injuries or seeking relief from chronic musculoskeletal pain. In practically every
instance, massage is profoundly effective in relieving discomfort by restoring
better function to the injured or affected area(s), increasing overall flexibility
and reducing stress.
